"Sheesh" Joins Modern Tales

SAN FRANCISCO—Modern Tales (http://www.moderntales.com), one of the Web’s premier webcomics sites, is proud to announce the addition of a new comic strip to its lineup. Sheesh, written by Jim Keplinger and drawn by Steve Musgrave, follows the creative staff of Sheesh Studios in its efforts to produce the comic book Fish of Justice.

“Teamwork is something everyone can relate to,” says Keplinger, “and setting it in a comic studio just seemed to make sense since we could draw so much from personal experience.”

Says Musgrave, “Kep and I are having a blast telling this tale, and I hope everyone enjoys reading it just as much!”

Keplinger’s comic Interplanetary Grift, with Scott Story and James Offredi, was one of the first series on the Modern Tales sister site Graphic Smash (www.graphicsmash.com). Keplinger has also written print comics, including the Image series Shadowhawk and the Alias comic Ted Noodleman, Bicycle Delivery Boy, drawn by Ryan Ottley. Musgrave is a graphic designer whose credits include illustration and design work for Wizards of the Coast, General Jinjur Comics, Killer Bunnies Inc., and the Brainerd Blue Thunder AA baseball team.

Sheesh now appears every Monday and Friday at moderntales.com. On the Talk About Comics blog (http://www.talkaboutcomics.com), editor Shaenon K. Garrity has posted an interview with the creators about their collaboration and their plans for Sheesh.
