An interesting interview, although I think I'd have liked it a lot better if he hadn't put so many silly editorial quips inside some of your answers. In a lot of ways that interview told me a lot more about the interviewer (he's insecure, doesn't "get" anime or webcomics or self-contained story arcs, and has trouble with applying context to the perceived meanings of words, like with that bit about "retro") than about you. But then again I'd never even heard of him before while I've been reading your stuff for years.
There was a slightly postmodern feel to it, like in your answer regarding your art style where you referred to "the image to the right." Thinking about an interview as a conversation (as opposed to what was probably a series of emails) gave me this feeling that when you were responding to his questions you had a series of slide projectors that happened to be cycling through relevant images, and that he had translated those images to the screen.
