RE: Overlooked Manga Festival -- you may not have done one this week, but it still worked. I picked up Antique Bakery (and two others you gave full treatement to, for Christmas presents) yesterday. IT HAS A SCRATCH-AND-SNIFF COVER. How is it that this manga doesn't have people singing its praises from the rooftops for this alone?

. . . it also left me wanting to spend about twice what I did on manga on high-end pastries.

(Close up. Cue dramatic theme with lots of stinger chords. MICKI is dangling from a side window of the tower. CHUCK stares down.)

MICKI. Oh, no. I was sketching the bells, and tripped out the window. Only Chumucka Man can save me now.

CHUCK. Come on, Micki, climb back in! You can do it!

MICKI. I said, 'Only Chumucka Man can save me now.'"
