MT Interview: Chris Shadoian
Today at Talk About Comics, I talk to Chris Shadoian, creator of Popcorn Picnic, about movies, movies, movies, monkeys named Barry, his Samuel L. Jackson dialogue contest, and movies.
Also, in honor of Jack Kirby's 89th birthday, here's a Narbonic commission drawing I did recently. I hesitate to call this a Jack Kirby tribute, because I think the real way to pay tribute to Kirby's genius is to strive to come up with new ideas and visions that are half as batshit insane as, say, the Don Rickles/Goody Rickles issues of Jimmy Olsen. That said, it's pretty damn fun to try to draw that crazy machinery. Andrew drew in the krackle.
